Meander. The area „im Waldacker“ stands out due to the architectural heterogeneity achieved. The area is defined by a diversified mix of surrounding buildings with different height and by high-quality green spaces. The topography with its gentle contours is a characteristic feature. The proposed “meander” of building and landscape creates on one hand the corridor to be kept free and at the same time follows the contour line of the ground. Different levels evolve from the interaction with this topography.
Towards the hill side in the south, the complex forms a protected square which stands in contrast to the forms towards the valley meeting the spacious landscape. A large opening in the complex connects the two buildings and provides an unhindered transfer across the buildings.
